About Me
Erma Suryanti is a lecturer (dosen) at the Biology Study Program, Faculty of Science, Institut Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA), Indonesia.

My academic interests and professional activities include:
- Microbiology: General microbiology, food microbiology, and microbial physiology.
- Microbial bioprospecting: PGPR, hydrolytic enzyme-producing microorganisms, and microbial diversity.
- Plant–microbe interactions: Mycorrhizae, endophytes, rhizosphere microorganisms, and plant growth-promoting bacteria.
- Food biotechnology: Fermentation and microbiological characterization of food products, including winged bean tempe.
- Natural product research: Antioxidant, antibacterial, antibiofilm, and cytotoxic activities of Robusta coffee extracts.
- Academic activities: Teaching, scientific publications, research collaboration, curriculum development, and academic governance.
